One Wonka Birthday Day

So my little one is turning one in a few months & i'm thinking of birthday party ideas so far Willy Wonka is my favorite but of course it will be called One Wonka Birthday!!

Cant wait !!!

{Pizza Planet}

For the little ones birthday I wanted to somehow incorporate Pizza Planet sense is such a big part of the movie! After searching the net for several weeks I couldn't find anything I like enough to actually put it together. With the party getting closer by the minute I decided not to do anything for Pizza Planet.

The day before the party I had tons to do so I told my husband I would not be cooking at all that day so on the way home I would pick up a pizza. I stop at Papa Murphy's and got us a pizza & the little one, one also.

Long story short after dinner I decided to cover the top & sides with foam paper to cover there logo & make letters also out of foam paper to say Pizza Planet. I hot glued it all to the box & made a saturn planet out of construction paper!

I have to say to have them turn out as good as they did when it was a last minute idea was totally great!!! And didn't cost me anything which hello totally win win :)

My 90 Day Journey To A Skinnier Me}

Hello world hope everyone is doing great & had a fantastic 4th of july!!! Thank you to all of you who are in the service.

I decided to take on the challenge of P90X. I see the infomercial for it all the time sense the little one has yet to sleep through the night ( any inside help or advice please comment below this mama bear is super tired) and sense hello I can totally loose some weight im going to do it.

I told my hubby & of  course his response was you have to really commit babe & I will. I know I will pobably cry a lot because I have not worked out in years but all seriousness I really would love to be back in shape & feel good about myself.

I can loose weight very easily everyone that knows me know im up & down all the time so my goal is to loose it & keep it off. Im hoping to loose 40 pounds thats my goal. I will be eating healthier & by that I mean lots of salads, fish, and drinking lots of water & tea!!!

Sounds easy enough right ;) I order the P90X program and it should be here in the next 2 days. I will post a picture of my 1st day & blog one blog for each week. Updated pictures will only be weekly.

Wish me luck bloggers I will need all the luck in the world to make this happen!

Now You Know

Toy Story Birthday

The toys definitly came out to play yesterday!!! We celebrated my sons 3rd Birthday! Between Pinterest, Google & a crafty mami (myself) it turned out Awesome ;)

I had toy soilders hanging from the ceiling in his room into the living room. We made little signs for the food out of red & white construction paper and made them look like Etch A Sketch. They were super cute! For food we made Rex Hot Peppers ( jalapeno cream cheese peppers wrapped in turkey bacon), Rocket Sandwiches, Chips & Dip, Sugar cookies shaped as Woodie's Badge& Pizza Planet Pizza bites!!!

For games we played with water ballons , made a water trampoline which I will soon blog about, & the rest of the time they played in his room & watch Toy Story!

I decised to make a photoboth out of a card board box which I painted sky blue & hottie glued cotton balls in shape of clouds to look like Andys room! I made the Happy Birthday letters which again I will show step by step blog soon. They were made, out of cereal boxes then hot glued onto cardboard boxes. We made a Etch A sketch out of  frame that I painted red & glue old medicine bottle lids to it , Buzz Lightyear helmet out of foam paper, mr. Potatoe head mustache & nose, mrs. potatoe head lips, & lots more.

I also made all the goodie bags to look lije the aliens. The bags were 30 cents at wal mart the eyes were 2.89 for a package of 12, & I used some old construction paper I had at home.

I spent a few weeks working on all of the decorations & props but it was all worth it he loved the party.I will explained  every prop or decoration in an individual blog but for now heres a little preview!!! Until next time!!!

{Ballons, Ballons & You guess it Ballons}

So I decided to make this awesome wreath for Jps Birthday Party out of ballons. When I first saw the idea on every girl's best friend website Pinterest!!! It called for you too use 144 ballons , well not sure where I went wrong but im up to 325 ballons so far & still have half of wreath to go ;)

I must admit my thumb is very sore, & after doing this for 3 days now im ready to be done with it, but...... Seriously it looks really freaking cute & so original. ( even though I didnt come up with the idea Pinterest did)

I opted to not use a color scheme because I wanted to use it for other birthday parties sense I do have a younger son & hubby!!! Here's a sneak peak sense as I mention still not finish!!!

Birthday party is less than a week away so away I go to finish the little details!!! Until next time...

Sneak Peak!!!

So last night my hubby & best friend decided they.wanted to help with the goodie bags!!!.

I fired them from a few jobs because well i'll be honest i'm a perfectionist & they weren't doing what I wanted, but that might be because I never explained to them what they were supposed to be doing Opps!!

But at the end of the night we got them done & i'm very happy with them. The bags were 33 cents at Wal Mart I used some old construction paper I had at home & the eyes were $2.84 for a bag of 9 also Wal Mart :)

Can't wait to show you guys the rest of the goodies I'm working on! Till next time.

I'm Back!!!!

So I have been M.I.A. for a while now & finally I have time to start blogging again :) So many things have happend the past few months, life has sure gave us a run for our money!!!

Anyways I hope everyone is enjoying summer so far! I have been getting ready for my sons 3rd birthday party theme Toy Story 3!!!! Can't wait to share all the cool stuff I been working on until next time!

{Letting Go}

So as many you know i have been on maternity leave for the past few weeks. Well it was time to go back to work and i wasn't ready to let go of Kaleb. The more and more i thought about it the more upset i would get and as i start remembering when it was Jeremiah's turn to go to daycare how hard it was.

Well the day came faster then i would of thought it would of course, and I'm proud to announce i made it without crying. I think honestly it was because Jeremiah was with me i was running late so i had no time to really focus on what i was doing. Or at least that's what I'm going to tell myself :) He stays sleeping of course sense that's what he does most of the time. Jeremiah gave him a kiss goodbye which melted my heart.

Work seem to go by fast but again maybe that's because i had 545 emails to come back to and 2 days worth of efaxes to process. YEAH lets just say i was VERY busy my 1st day back. But i LOVE being busy at work the only time i hate working is when i have nothing to do for 8 hours but they expect you to do something.

It's Friday and i cannot wait to get off work and spend the weekend with my sweet loves. So to all my Mamie friends did you guys cry the first day back to work? Any good ideas you have on how it can be easier please let me know! Calling the daycare every 30 minutes might turn into a problem!!!!

So me and the hubby have been thinking about getting a tattoo together for years. No no no im not getting his name or via versa. Not that crazy.

I truly love this idea and for months now have been doing a little research. Although  I think we are going with a  double infinity sign!!

I cant wait to get it, dont worry I will for sure upload pictures once we get it :) Did you have any meaningful tats???

So I have a confession to make..... I am a total addict to pinterest!!! There I said it. I love it I have made some of the recipes I found and they have turned out so good.

I have also found the cutest ideas for weddings, dinner parties, and birthdays. Now only if I could hurry up and start my own Event planning business I would be one happy girl. Seriously I have tap into my creative side so much more thanks to them, and hello sense the little one doesn't sleep throught the night yet is super fun to go on there & see what i can do with the little ones while the hubby is at work at all hours of the night !! Beats getting on facebook & reading lame statuses that everyone decides to share with the world or watching how to loose weight informertials ;) If you been living under a rock & don't know what pinterest is well google it & join the club!!! {My New Crush}

So as you all know I love wine! No no im not an alcoholic, and I honestly don't drink much but I do love me some good wine! After all is good for your heart :) Right???

I cant take credit for finding this one my older sister actually introduce me to it. But let's just say it has become one of my favorites.

Its white wine with a little taste of champagne. Seriously delish. The only place so far that I have found it at its Byrons liquor store off Broadway downtown. The bottle runs for $18.00.

So trust me go get a bottle you will love it! Whats ur favorite wine?

{I do's Time 2}

Yay my favorite time of the year is FINALLY here!!!!! Well 2nd favorite next to Christmas. Wedding season. I love love love weddings. If I can plan, weddings for the rest of my life I would go home to heaven one very happy girl.

My sweet sister is getting married in April in the Dominic Republic and I cannot wait! Well maybe a little this mama still got a few pounds she wants to get ride off ;). But im so excited for her is not even funny!

And then there's my sweet friend Brittany! I talked about her on here before, she just got engaged to her lobster of 2 years and im so happy for the both of them. I totally knew it was coming they are super cute together and lets face it she's a very smoking hot girl hes lucky to have her :).

I cant wait for both of there BIG days seriously SUPER excited!

{Bucket List}

The new year is here, and like all of us i'm working on all your new year resolutions. This year I decided instead of having a new years resolution I would work towards things off my bucket list. You know the things we hope to do before we kick the bucket :)

I dont have many but the ones I have mean alot to me. I been off work on maternity leave and it has giving me a lot of time to think, wish, and get inspire! What can I say GOD made me with a hopeful and old soul.

I have wrote down the things I would like to do this year and if the mayans are right its the last year of our lives so lets make it worth a while.

First thing on the list...... See the world through my kids eyes!

Why does time feels to go faster when you are doing tge things you love??? I have been on maternity leave a little over a month now, and it feels like just a week. Now maybe thats because of the lack of sleep, the stress over the holidays, or keeping up with my little family.

Whatever it may be time has flown by. I only have 2 1/2 weeks left and back to work I go. I wish I could say.time flyes when im working but so often I catch myself counting down the hours until I can finally leave and go home to my sweet loves.

I hope that when I return to work I can find the joy in it again, and hopefully by doing so once again time will start flying while i'm working!!!

Any ideas on how to enjoy work more? Is there something im missing? Make sure to spend time wisely enjoy it with your loved ones :)

{Kaleb}

Meet Kaleb, hes a month old loves to cuddle and sleeps for 3 hours in a row but mami loves him very much!

{He just couldn't wait}

December 1st has come and gone but I been so busy I havent had a chance to update yall :)

As most of you that read my blog know baby kaleb has arrived!!! Hes the best baby ever, tiny as can be and looks just like Jeremiah! Jeremiah has been excellent with him. Helping me with diapers, reading stories to him, calming him down when he cries the list goes on. Im a proud mama to say the least.

I'll get some pictures up soon promise. Got to go someone heard me writting about him :)

{Happy 2012}

I hope everyone had a great New years eve! I Spend it at home with my little familia :). The little ones only lasted till 9:30pm sense lets be honest there way to young only 2 1/2 & 1 month old.

I cant lie I even took a small nap lol but I woke up just in time for a mid night kiss with the hubby.

We started the year by going to church and thanking the big guy above for our blessings and another year! The rest of the day was spent enjoying each others company which is my all time favorite past time!
